Engineer - Design Development

• Designing and developing hydraulic hoses tube hoses and mechanical parts
• Creating 3D models of products using CREO
• Preparing 2D drawings of child parts using AutoCAD
• Maintaining the Bill of Materials (BOM) structure in the TCSiON ERP system
• Planning production processes and creating process BOM in ERP
• Managing engineering change for all parts
• Releasing drawings to user departments Purchase Production NPD and Quality
• Maintaining document and data control for all engineering assets

• A minimum of 24 years experience in the manufacturing industry preferably in the automotive sector in engineering design
• Proficiency in CREO and AutoCAD (knowledge of NX ProE and CATIA is acceptable)
• Knowledge of engineering design processes products and GD&T
• Familiarity with testing quality processes and methods
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes and ERP systems
• Problemsolving skills and exposure to TS 16949 OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards as well as TQM PPAP and APQP practices
