Role Overview:

In this role your responsibilities will revolve around the meticulous management of intricate design engineering tasks tailored to moderately scaled projects. Your adeptness in traditional design engineering is paramount showcasing not just competence but mastery in orchestrating the planning and execution of tasks autonomously. This demands not only proficiency but also a creative adaptation of conventional techniques to ensure innovative and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Design power distribution lighting controls grounding and lightning protection systems for facility projects.

Create electrical diagrams control schematics cable schedules and interconnection diagrams.

Conduct onsite assessments of existing conditions.

Perform electrical calculations and analyze equipment sizing for power studies.

Review studies on short circuits overcurrent coordination and arc flash.

Assist the project team with miscellaneous tasks.

Estimate probable construction costs for designed projects.

Collaborate with various disciplines and trades like Instrumentation Process and Mechanical Engineering.

Liaise with vendors for equipment specification and application.

Coordinate with power utilities and local code enforcement for power requirements.

Provide guidance to engineers in training and designers.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

410 years of experience in designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.

PE license; ability to obtain NCEES record and reciprocate licenses across states.
