The minute you see a dog, your crappy day suddenly isn t so doggone bad. The more you re around pups, the more energized you become. No puppy mess is too daunting (comes with the territory!). You ve often mentioned how you could play with dogs every day. If we are describing you, PUPS Pet Club has an opportunity that you do not want to miss.

As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will get paid to play with pups every day. Of course, that isn t all you will do. But we are looking for high-energy individuals who aren t afraid to get on the ground, give belly-rubs, engage pups with favorite toys, reinforce positive behaviors with treats and other tools, and anything else that our members pups require over the course of their stay at our clubs. Our attendants love that they support happy, healthy pups by providing stimulating play and activities, and safe supervision within a clean and fun environment. In this way, you also support healthy relationships between our daycare guests and their parents (our members). You are able to provide the time and attention that our members want to devote but can't due to circumstances, such as work commitments.

Our daycare attendants are also in a unique position to forge special bonds, as many of these dogs are frequent players. You get to know their one-of-a-kind personalities and quirks. The same goes for our members people and their dogs become an extension of the PUPS family.

In addition to supervising groups during playtime, and interacting with pups, attendants have the opportunity to learn proper dog handling, introduction, praise, and correction techniques from some of the leading authorities in canine behavior. These techniques will then be applied when observing and interacting with dogs. There are no divas here. So, part of being an attendant will involve cleaning up after our daycare pals. It is an absolute must that our pups have a safe, healthy, and sanitized space to reconnect with old buddies and make new friends. An ideal member of our pack will also:

• Be positive
• Communicate clearly
• Multi-task
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Collaborate, share ideas, and pitch in to help others
• Have demonstrated experience in animal care (on-the-job or personal)
• Have a high school diploma or GED we welcome college students, too!
