About the Role

Designation : DM/Manager IT (MDM)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Project Management of the implementation of MDM & DG tool
• Evaluate and implement right MDM DQ DG tools
• Assist the data stewards and owners to prioritize MDM and DG use case for implementation
• Responsible to create and publish Golden Record
• Maintain/Provision the creation of Master data record
• Maintenance and retirement of master data records
• Accountable and responsible for rolling out frameworks policies processes and standards for MDM & DG areas
• Communicate new DG initiatives and standards
• Coordinate data integration and synchronize efforts across multiple business processes systems and application for data management
• Execute training and awareness plan for Data Governance rollout
• Work with DG& MDM lead to periodically review and update defined frameworks policies standards and processes
• Collaborate with Business and IT team to perform MDM & DG program activities
• Document business processes and workflows for Master Data Domains
• Responsible to define DQ dimensions DQ rules and mapped those rule to DQ dimensions
• Conduct periodic DQ profiling for issue identification and reporting
• Implementation of DG tool activities including Business glossary Data dictionary Data Lineage
• Responsible to implement DG standards for technical datasets of their respective applications
• Responsible to maintain and enhance metadata for technical data assets of their respective applications
• Ensure to advocate for Data Governance best practices within IT teams

Delivery Management:

• of master and reference data issues logged v/s resolved

Job Requirements

Education : BE Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT

Years of Experience: 8

Specialized Knowledge:

• 8 years of experience in MDM & DG including tool implementations
• Understand business and implement Data quality rules in DQ tool
• Adapt in core MDM areas such as Match Merge Survivorship Trust Scores Hierarchy and External Match
• Proficiency in data modeling data integration and ETL processes
• Preferred experience working on SAP ECC Salesforce S/4 HANA Stibo MS SQL
• Experience in operationalization of MDM & DG programs in Apparel Industry
• Indepth knowledge of data governance data quality and data security principles.
• Familiarity with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
• Sound knowledge on endtoend Data Governance framework and industry practices.
• Preferred experience in Apparel industry
• Preferred certifications in DG frameworks such as DAMA DCAM etc.Certification in MDM or related fields
• Strong understanding of DG processes and standards
• At least 5 years of experience in Technology implementation projects preferably in Apparel industry
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
