Position Name:Deployment Engineer (Core Application)

Qualifications:

• Strong working Experience in LTE/5G with basic IMS knowledge in Telecom Service provider Environment
• Experience with Wireless Data Core networks, Architecture, Protocols and Interfaces
• Good Knowledge on the Deployment and Design of Virtual Core Network
• Good understanding of Wireless Operator’s end-end Network
• Experience with LTE core system interfaces and protocols such as S1-MME, S1-U, S6a, S11, S5/S8, Gx, Rx, NAS, S1-AP, RRC, GTPv2c, GTP-U, SGs-AP.
• Excellent Understanding of Rel 11/Rel 12/Rel 13 3GPP standards
• Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing
• Experience in Capturing Logs using Probes of various tools and Traffic Simulator tools as well.
• Preferable Cisco Virtual EPC Knowledge

KEY SKILLS:

• Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G packet core networks
• Troubleshooting through pcap traces in various interfaces – Gx, Gy, Sgi, Sy, S1AP, S11, S1U, Sx and ability to pin point issues in cross functional domains like IMS, RCS.
• Hands on experience in NFV based cloud deployment or Cloud Native deployment for any core node.
• 3GPP Specs knowledge in the packet core domain.
• Good Knowledge in Openstack, TCP/UDP, IP protocols and understanding of basic OSI model.
