DCS CI Specialist Davao Philippines

Job Summary: The DCS & C&I Specialist is responsible for providing support in DCS & C&I related matters for the power plant sites. The role involves applying knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems contributing to asset management practices performing root cause analysis and producing technical reports.

Job Duties:

• Propose solutions and support resolution of difficult site issues whilst ensuring best practices.
  
• Apply knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems to resolve difficult site issues and review enhancement proposals.
  
• Contribute to overall efforts in enhancing and implementing asset management practices on site for long term integrity and cost optimization.
  
• Understand the capital investment process and undertake necessary investment appraisal analysis.
  
• Support the site team in ensuring all necessary technical activities are incorporated within the outage programme.
  
• Perform root cause analysis techniques to support the site teams in resolving difficult technical issues and to provide investigative expertise.
  
• Ensure excellent standards are maintained during project implementation through appropriate policies and practical application.
  
• Interface as necessary with the sites CMMS.
  
• Ensure appropriate application and enhancement of maintenance philosophies are applied in the site.
  
• Produce concise technical reports and ensure plant status change management control procedures are fully implemented.
  
• Conform to the company s Quality Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Asset Management Energy Management Business Continuity Management System and Information Security Management Systems policies standards procedures and guidelines based on ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISO 27001 ISO 55001 ISO 50001 and ISO 22301 Standards.
  
• Report Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety events/incidents or potential events or other security risks to the organization/committeesincharge.
  
• Protect information assets from unauthorized access disclosure modification destruction or interference in accordance with ISMS policies
  
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the TL.
  

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation and Control or related field
  
• At least 3 years experience in I&C/DCS specialism
  
• Professional Institution Membership Desirable
  
• Evidence of Professional Competence essential
  
• Expertise in Instrumentation and Control Logic Diagrams Logic Flow Sequence Management Failure mechanism analysis and prevention and Power Plant Technology
  
• Oral and Written Communication Skills
  
• Interpersonal multicultural skills
  
• Ability to share knowledge and coach site O&M team
  
• Computer Skills and Proficiency in MS Office or similar software
