Datacenter Technician - Intermediate US

Bill rate range: $35/hr on W2

Location: Plano TX (onsite)

Contract: 12 plus Months

Top 3 skills: Previous data center experience familiarity with hardware and working on servers Linux experience is a plus

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Technician responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving Client IP (Silicon HW SW) and debug of Client server hardware infrastructure

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning development and validation activities
Deploy and maintain NPI server products while partnering with other engineers and contractors
Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

REQUIREMENTS:
Good communication skills both written and oral
High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
Experience in areas of data center system deployment software deployment and validation
Familiarity with testing tools methodologies and defect tracking
Ability to function independently with little direct supervision
Physical Requirements Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
2 5 years experience in high tech industry
Relevant degree or equivalent experience
Skilled in MS Office tool suites Confluence MS Sharepoint
