Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data governance principles and extensive experience in developing governance dashboards using Snowflake Snowpark Snowflake stored procedures and SnowflakeStreamlit applications. Additionally familiarity with SQL is crucial for this role. The project involves working on Project Ocean which focuses on implementing a graph database using AWS Neptune along with other AWS services such as Lambda S3 and Sagemaker. A deep understanding of Python XML and namespace functionalities is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain governance dashboards within Snowflake environment.
• Design and implement data pipelines leveraging Snowflake Snowpark and Snowflake stored procedures.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Create SnowflakeStreamlit applications for interactive data visualization and analysis.
• Optimize queries and data processing tasks to improve performance and efficiency.
• Participate in the design and implementation of Project Ocean focusing on AWS Neptune graph database.
• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda S3 and Sagemaker for data processing and analytics tasks.
• Develop Python scripts and functions to automate data workflows and processes.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of XML structures and namespaces especially in the context of data integration.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Snowflake including Snowpark and Snowflake stored procedures.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience in developing governance dashboards and SnowflakeStreamlit applications.
• Familiarity with AWS services particularly Neptune Lambda S3 and Sagemaker.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
• Indepth understanding of XML structures and namespace functionalities.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications in Snowflake and AWS services.
• Experience working with graph databases and graph querying languages.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and principles.
