Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Engineer Lead to join our team specializing in the US Pharmacy Benefit Management sector. As a Data Engineer Lead you will play a key role in designing building and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem. You will help lead and mentor a team of engineers and analysts ensuring the successful delivery of data solutions while leveraging your expertise in Python SQL Snowflake and AWS technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system architectures.
- Design and implement robust ETL processes to ingest transform and load data from various sources into the Snowflake data warehouse using Python and SQL.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance reliability and scalability leveraging cloudnative services within the AWS ecosystem such as AWS ECS and S3.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle by implementing data validation and quality control mechanisms.
- Mentor and coach team members providing technical guidance best practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data analysts software engineers and business stakeholders to support datadriven decisionmaking and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation as well as SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloudbased data warehousing platforms.
- Previous experience leading a team of data engineers with a track record of successful project delivery and team collaboration.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues in a distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders including those in the US.
- Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
- Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
- Must be able to work following Mountain time (during Probationary) / PH Hours (after Regularization)
