Cybersecurity Analyst for Java Developers

About the role:

As a Java Developer you will play a crucial role in contributing to the development and delivery of various software projects for our clients. We are seeking professionals with 2 to 3 years of experience in Java development to join our team.

The ideal professional should have diverse project experience showcasing their versatility and adaptability in different development environments.

What youll do:

• Designing creating and implementing Javabased applications
  

• Interpreting briefs to create highquality coding that functions according to specifications
  

• Determining application functions and building objectives with the team
  

• Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives
  

• Problem solving with other team members in the project
  

• Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications
  

• Drafting detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
  

• Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives
  

• Assisting other developers with troubleshooting debugging and coding
  

• Meeting deadlines on fastpaced deliverables
  

Requirements

What youll bring:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java Development
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication
  

• Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer
  

• Indepth knowledge of website design and programming
  

• Indepth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE
  

• Excellent analytical problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
  

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  

• Knowledge of hardware and operating systems (Unixbased systems a plus)
  

• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle SQL Server DB2)
  

• Understanding of LDAP like ActivE Directory or Open LDAP
  

• Agile experience with application servers and web application servers
  

• Knowledge and certifications in security and networking is an added advantage
  

• Significant coding skills in Java with other languages being a major plus
  

• A strong portfolio of topclass coding and builds to your name
