We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager II Endoscopy in a Private Hospital in Cork
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the Endoscopy units operations.
- Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidencebased care planning approach.
- Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership
- Be responsible for the coordination assessment planning delivery and review of service user care by all staff in the designated area
- Exercise authority in the running of the assigned area(s) as deputized by the scheduled care Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Manage communication about the role of best practice in the triage of referrals
Requirements
- Enrolled in the general Division of the NMBIs live nurse registry.
- A minimum of five years in an acute general context following registration two of which must be spent in surgical services or a similar field.
- It is necessary to have prior experience running a day unit with a high patient volume and short turnaround time like Endoscopy.
- It is necessary to have a management qualification.
- It is also preferred to educate and assess students while serving as a preceptor.
