We are hiring Clinical Nurse Managers 1 & 2 to Lead an elder care group in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the delivery of excellent care to residents and their families in Name of Unit aligns with the nursing homes purpose vision values and strategic plan.
- Make sure the resident is acknowledged as an individual and that their needs rights and comfort are prioritized when providing care.
- Build rapport with the residents to support their autonomy knowledge and evidencebased decisionmaking.
- Respecting each persons right to privacy dignity and good health will help to promote and preserve resident safety and deliver highquality care.
- Increase the amount of personal autonomy and choice that each resident has.
- When its feasible involve people in decisionmaking and help them preserve their sense of self.
Requirements
- A General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse registered or eligible to be enrolled on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands Register of Nurses.
- A minimum of two years of postgraduate experience preferably gained while serving as an acting CNM or senior staff nurse.
- Advanced Certificate in Geriatrics.
- Qualifications for management
- Experience in gerontology
- Experience in adult disabled psychiatry and psychogeriatric nursing care.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the aging process.
