Description : Position: Caregiver

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide non-medical home care services to clients in the state of Illinois. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living and providing companionship and support in their homes.
Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transfer techniques as needed
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding, if needed
• Administer medications and monitor client health as directed by the care plan or supervisor
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishes
• Provide companionship and social interaction, including engaging in activities with clients
• Accompany clients to appointments or on outings, if needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided and client progress
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the care team
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving, either through professional work or personal experience caring for a loved one
• Valid driver and #x27;s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and compassionate attitude toward clients
• Ability to follow directions and care plans, including administering medications and monitoring client health
• Physical ability to perform the job duties, which may include lifting or assisting clients with mobility
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed
