Your role: An exciting new opportunity has arisen as Business Process Architect Authorization Risk & Control directly reporting to the Head of BMA Security Risk & Quality Control.
The Business Process Architect Authorization Risk & Control together with her/his colleagues...
governs oversees executes and continually optimizes our authorization processes serving Merck s complex ERP landscape (major ERP systems satellites) including the creation/update/maintenance of related internal quality documents (e.g. Standards/Procedures)
governs oversees maintains and continually optimizes (e.g. harmonizes / complements / improves) our ERP Access Controls and Process Controls related tools landscape (e.g. SAP GRC and/or other tools) and lead related (sub) projects
secures that state of the art / compliant Segregation of Duties mechanisms are systematically implememented and maintained across our ERP landscape (e.g. SoD conflicts being prevented where possible and otherwise identified monitored and relarted risks being mitigated)
reviews and pushes towards contunial imprvement of existing controls
acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for requests etc. related to authorizaitons in assigned focus areas (e.g. Finance Controlling Accounts Payable Purchasing)
develops SAP scripts (e.g. Winshuttle scripts) supporting assigned focus areas (e.g. Finance Controlling Accounts Payable Purchasing)
collaborates with functions project teams SAP moduleexperts SAP developers stakeholders in different parts of the organization (e.g. in country and/or service organizations) etc. on all Access Controls / Process Controls related matters
acts as link / builds the bridge between Business and IT e.g.: understands and transalates business requirements into ITrelated language/requirements and vice vera
leads and contributes to improvement initiatives and projects e.g. with service delivery unit
leads or contributes to the development of an integrated ERP Access Contrrol Strategy and/or its implementation; In that: may lead parts of and contributes to ERP implementations ERP upgrades etc. and secures SoD conflict free setups right from the start
builds and maintains an active ERP Access Control community of practice)
(e.g. steers communication around the topic)
educates/guides/orchestrates/coordinates ERP Access Control SPOCs
(single points of contactcs nominated across other departments/business units)
acts as main/single point of contact for ERP Access Control in case of internal and external audits/inspections
Who you are:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in computer science engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years work experience with SAP Authorizations in one or more larger scale companies / a global setup (SAP S4 ECC Fiori etc.)
Strong understanding of SAP GRC Access Control and experience in Access Risk Analysis (ARA) Access Request Management (ARM) and Emergency Access Management (EAM)
Experience with Audit Controls and Segregation of Duties.
Experience with ERP/SAP system design configuration customization integration testing training and support
Understanding of SAP GRC Process Control in relation to risk and control documentation and handling.
Good understanding / experience with Finance / Procurement processes and SAP module(s).
Experience with SAP scripting (e.g. Winshuttle a plus)
