As a Billing Analyst you will take charge of handling and analyzing daily billing cases originating from both retail and wholesale customers. Your responsibilities will encompass the thorough examination of monthly invoices including the critical tasks of analysis validation and approval of billing cycles.

• Experience in billing for an Australian client
  
• A solid understanding of Australian Telco billing and pricing processes and systems is a plus
  
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel / MS Office
  
• Indepth knowledge of industry best practices
  
• Strong team player

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Prior experience in disputing invoices and resolving complex service issues with customers
  

• Handle and analyze daily billing cases from both retail and wholesale customers
  
• Be accountable for monthly invoice analysis validation and approval of billing cycles
  
• Review carrier invoices and/or carrier claims data identifying and promptly reporting any potential discrepancies in the files
  
• Generate periodic reports and format the output according to client specifications or requirements
  
• Assist with any adhoc projects within the department
  
• Perform audit functions within the department
  
• Take responsibility for the operational stability and performance of the billing system and processes ensuring that the customer journey for billing aligns with the companys brand
  
• Ensure accurate billing for services ordered and consistency in changes modifications and disconnects with the business platform
  
• Maintain strong communication channels with all internal customers and partners whose responsibilities are impacted by the billing systems
  
• Detect billing process errors make appropriate corrections and resolve complex billing issues
  
• Maintain composure and customer focus while resolving challenging complaints
  
• Collaborate with individuals from other departments including Customer Support Sales Data and Voice Delivery.
