Audit Senior Associate

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is a leading management consulting firm partnering with the worlds best companies in hiring top talent. We are currently partnering with a highly preferred professional services firm seeking to fill key roles within their audit function. This role will have an opportunity to work with clients in a variety of industries.

As an Audit Senior Associate you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for clients. This includes planning executing and completing all aspects of the audit process in accordance with professional standards and firm policies. You will also be responsible for reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit engagements including planning executing and completing all aspects of the audit process

Review and analyze client financial statements and related documents to identify potential audit risks and areas for improvement

Prepare and review audit workpapers and ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any questions or concerns

Review the work of junior staff and provide guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills

Identify opportunities to improve client processes and procedures and provide recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness

Keep uptodate on industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards

Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit engagements

Participate in firmwide initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

CPA certification preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards

Excellent analytical problemsolving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software

Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
