Exciting News! A prominent AudioVisual Integrator is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Audiovisual Technician/Installer! This role brings the excitement of technical and mechanical installations including cuttingedge hardware from top audiovisual manufacturers. From racks and projectors to displays video walls audio systems and more this opportunity encompasses a diverse range of AV elements. Working in adherence to safety guidelines youll collaborate with project leads engineers and managers utilizing project drawings and specifications to ensure topnotch installations. Primary Duties:
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
- Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable clientbased system.
- Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to camera lenses monitors and equipment fans.
- Take responsibility for accurately completing job documentation as needed.
- Field installation of control programs (Crestron/Firmware/DSP) upload and download capability.
- Field service support of networked devices (Routers IP Protocols etc.)
- Perform service tasks in a timely and qualityconscious manner including but not limited to pulling cable installing connectors mounting projectors and hanging ceiling mounts.
- Provide necessary training and support for nextlevel service technicians.
- Provide enduser client training as needed.
- Adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the job.
- Set up and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems.
- Travel to various job sites required.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Installation experience of 210 years in AV or related industry
- InfoComm CTS Crestron QSys Biamp Cisco Netgear Certifications are a huge plus.
- Minimum of 12 years installing and commissioning audiovisual equipment including video panels speakers racking microphones A/V cabling and wiring.
- Knowledge of loading and troubleshooting Crestron QSys and Biamp control systems required (not programming).
- Loading and configuration of Crestron control systems.
- Experience with Cisco Netge networking including routers switches and configuring wireless networks ideal.
- Can read CADgenerated prints and build blueprints and riser diagrams.
- Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device.
- Must be able to read and write at basic English proficiency.
- The ability to perform basic math functions.
- The ability to lift 5075 lbs. climb crawl and raise items overhead.
Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
