Associate Veterinarian

We are looking for a veterinarian to join the team!

We are proud to be AAHA accredited AAFP cat friendly Chemotherapy Center of Excellence and have won Best Vets in Chicago multiple years in a row! We also support all interests in vet med and would be happy to expand the services we offer our patients. All our veterinarians are experienced open to mentoring and collaborating and supportive of one another.

We perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries. We perform surgeries Monday through Saturday and our new veterinarian will have their own dedicated surgery day each week. Preop lab work IV catheters and pain management are required for every patient and they are closely monitored by our amazing support staff. If a patient requires overnight hospitalization we have a great working relationship with a local emergency clinic making transfers easy.

The best part of our hospital is our intelligent hardworking diverse and passionate team! We celebrated our 11year anniversary in February and some of our staff have been here since day one! Our doctors have amazing support with 2.5 to 3 technicians per doctor and 9 are CVTs. We empower them to do what they are trained to do which helps our doctors be incredibly efficient.

Requirements

• 12 year s experience preferred
  
• Illinois Veterinary License active and in good standing
  
• Teamoriented mentality that supports our closeknit family culture
  
• Strong client communication and client education skills
