Associate Director Business Development

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary : The Associate Director, Business Development will work in support of the Business Development team. The Associate Director, Business Development will manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of select corporate contributors throughout the U.S. Essential Functions & Responsibilities : • In collaboration with Senior Vice President and Associate Vice President, Business Development, develop and maintain relationships with Foundation’s corporate partners including: • Identification and cultivation of new and existing partners • Proposal / presentation development and execution • Managing benefit fulfillment of executed contracts • Broaden / deepen relationships and contracts within corporate partners • Provide strategic guidance to other departments to maximize corporate opportunities and ensure revenue targets are met. • Participate in strategic planning & insight with junior members of the Business Development team; including, but not limited to direct reports, clinical trials, etc. • Lead and oversee management of a direct report(s) by collaborating in the development and maintenance of that manager’s relationships with Foundation’s corporate
