Adelphi is seeking a PhysicianAnesthesiologist to provide services at a medical facility in Providence Rhode Island (RI). The ideal candidate will possess a full and unrestricted license and is BC/BE by the ABA. Administer clinical care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.     Provide primary coverage in critical care settings including the surgical intensive care unit short stay unit and acute/chronic pain management as well as emergency airway management.     Offer consultative services at patient bedside for nonambulatory cases and in clinics for ambulatory cases.     Ensure compliance with medication policies and procedures abstaining from providing sample medications.     Provide discharge education and followup instructions coordinating with the next care setting.     Establish mechanisms for timely communication of test results to patients.     Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and attend relevant meetings as required by the facility.     Fulfill any other duties as outlined by the facility.
