Accounting Clerk

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records processing transactions and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
• Prepare journal entries general ledger reconciliations and financial reports.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes including financial statement preparation.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial support and analysis as required.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
