Accounting Clerk - Beldens Automotive and Tires

Beldens Automotive and Tires Castle Hills has an amazing fulltime opening located at 2035 Lockhill Selma San Antonio TX 78213 for an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the regional accounting manager assisting in maintaining financial records running reports and recording a wide range of financial transactions.

• Receiving & paying invoices daily from various locations and posting
  
• Matching invoices with monthly statements for accuracy
  
• Able to reach out to appropriate contact for missing invoices credits & cores
  
• Able to appropriately code invoices to correct profit center
  
• Pay invoices and match checks to invoices for mailing based upon set schedule
  
• Assist in answering incoming calls to corporate offices
  
• Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  
• Ability to work in a team environment with crossdepartmental collaboration
  
• Maintain a clean safe and secure working environment
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  

• High school diploma/GED. College degree preferred
  


• Must possess a valid US Drivers License and be insurable on Company insurance policy
  


• Prior accounting experience preferred.
  


• Heavy knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivable Balancing.
  

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  


• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  


• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  


• Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software

• This job operates in a normal office environment
  


• Operates normal office equipment: computer keyboard mouse etc.
  


• Must possess a current valid drivers license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
