Finance Administrator / Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Finance Administrator / Accountant to join our
growing finance team in Doha Qatar.

The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on accounting experience ideally with exposure to European accounts and financial standards and a keen eye for
accuracy and process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable bank
reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support the management of European accounts and transactions ensuring compliance with
applicable standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple entities or currencies
where required.
• Assist in budget preparation variance analysis and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local Qatar financial regulations IFRS and any relevant European
reporting requirements.
• Process payroll invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve internal controls.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA CPA CMA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience handling European accounts or working with European financial
standards/GAAP.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP QuickBooks Xero or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to build and manage financial models and reports.
• High level of accuracy analytical thinking and organizational ability.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Must be currently based in Doha Qatar (local hire only).
