Area Manager – Retail

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Manager Retail to oversee multiple retail store operations across Bahrain for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance ensuring operational excellence managing store teams and delivering outstanding customer experiences while maintaining brand standards.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills a commercial mindset and a proven track record in multi-store retail management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple retail stores within the assigned region.
• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue profitability and KPI targets.
• Monitor store performance and implement action plans to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Lead coach and develop Store Managers and retail teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures visual merchandising and brand standards.
• Analyze sales reports market trends and inventory levels to optimize business performance.
• Conduct regular store visits audits and performance reviews.
• Manage staffing levels scheduling recruitment onboarding and employee development.
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain high service standards across all stores.
• Collaborate with senior management on business strategies promotions and operational improvements.
• Ensure health safety and security standards are consistently followed.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Retail Management or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 58 years of experience in retail operations including multi-store management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales and operational performance.
• Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems.
• Ability to travel within Bahrain as required.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
