Your Opportunity

Stantecs Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Dashboard and Application Specialist to work closely with our clients on complex datadriven engagements. The role is client-facing and focuses on designing developing and delivering executive dashboards reporting applications and analytics solutions that support strategic decisionmaking performance management and operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for delivering analytics and dashboarding solutions as part of our consulting engagements including (but not limited to):

• Act as a client-facing analytics specialist engaging directly with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
• Lead the definition of KPIs performance metrics and reporting frameworks aligned with client objectives and governance structures.
• Design develop and maintain dashboards and reporting applications using Power BI Tableau and/or Qlik.
• Translate complex datasets into clear executivelevel dashboards with strong data storytelling and usability.
• Design and implement robust data models (e.g. star schemas semantic layers) to support scalable and highperformance reporting.
• Develop and review advanced SQL queries views and datasets to support dashboard and analytics requirements.
• Perform data validation quality checks and reconciliation to ensure integrity consistency and auditability of reported information.
• Develop advanced Excel-based analytical models and tools (Power Query Power Pivot complex formulas) to support analysis and prototyping.
• Establish dashboard standards templates documentation and best practices suitable for enterprise and government clients.
• Manage dashboard publishing refresh schedules access controls and security (including rolebased or rowlevel security where applicable).
• Present insights analyses and dashboards to senior client stakeholders and support datadriven decisionmaking.
• Provide technical guidance review work and mentor junior analysts and developers.
• Contribute to proposals technical sections of bids and client presentations related to analytics and digital solutions.

Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Strong problemsolving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to operate in a clientfacing consulting role and manage senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to work independently to firm deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced multicultural consulting environment.

Technical Competencies

• Advanced experience developing dashboards in Power BI Tableau and/or Qlik.
• Strong data modelling expertise including relationships measures calculations and performance optimisation.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction transformation and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query Power Pivot complex formulas and modelling).
• Experience with dashboard governance KPI standardisation and reporting lifecycle management.

Considered an Asset

• Experience delivering analytics solutions for government infrastructure utilities or large enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of data governance reporting standards and performance management frameworks.
• Exposure to automation ETL tools or scripting languages (e.g. Python).

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Data Analytics Business Analytics or a related field. Western education is preferred.
• 14 years of relevant experience in business intelligence analytics or data visualisation roles.
• Demonstrated experience delivering client-facing dashboarding and analytics engagements preferably in consulting or professional services environments.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
