About the Role
This role is responsible for driving the growth and retention of insurance business through strong broker and client relationships. The position focuses on acquiring new corporate and SME clients managing existing portfolios and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The individual will play a key role in supporting business development maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
1. Business Development & Growth
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate and SME segments
- Achieve sales targets in line with company objectives
- Support market expansion through broker and client engagement
2. Broker Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers
- Coordinate broker activities to ensure seamless communication
- Provide timely support and service to broker partners
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and manage relationships with direct corporate clients
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Act as the key point of contact for client enquiries
4. Portfolio Management
- Oversee renewals endorsements and policy amendments
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of client and policy data
5. Operational Delivery
- Respond to client and broker queries efficiently and professionally
- Ensure timely processing of all policy-related activities
- Support internal coordination across departments
6. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with insurance regulations
- Uphold professional and ethical business standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field
- 35 years experience within the insurance industry
- Proven experience in sales marketing or client relationship management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
- Understanding of insurance products and broker networks preferred
