In this role you will:

Work individually and as part of a team to manage day-to-day operations for Securities Services Clients for Global Custody Fund Services Transfer Agency and Direct Custody

Requirements for the role

• Basic understanding of Fund Accounting and Custody Operations
• Possess good understanding and knowledge of capital markets post trade lifecycle activities and related payments
• Possess knowledge of different swift standards for payment processing
• Handle Corporate action processing like dividend distribution and understanding of Listed company market announcements (AGM/EGM)
• Understanding of overall Mutual Fund dealing order cycles
• Possess good email etiquettes
• Ensure all processes and documentations are compliant with Group Audit and Internal Control standards
• Liaise with multiple teams within HSBC Support centers regulators and clients to ensure daily operation runs smoothly and comply with all internal/external regulations

To be successful in the role you should meet the following requirements:

• Markets and Securities services experience across various products is added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English & Arabic (preferred)
• Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly transfers knowledge understand and interpret numeric data to make Operational decisions
• Handle client feedback and escalations and providing excellent service to clients
• Payment processing and banking Operations
• Knowledge of Capital Markets and trading practices
• Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred
• Certificate of completion of securities courses would also be an advantage
