STRUCTURALCIVIL MODELER

Structural / Civil BIM Modeler is responsible for developing managing and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for structural and civil components. The role ensures accurate representation of design intent constructability and compliance with BIM standards while supporting multidisciplinary coordination across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for structural and civil components including foundations columns beams slabs steel structures and infrastructure works
• Model civil elements such as roads utilities grading drainage and related networks
• Prepare shop drawings reinforcement drawings and construction documentation from BIM models
• Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks to ensure conflict-free design
• Coordinate closely with architectural and MEP teams to deliver integrated and constructible models
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ISO 19650 requirements
• Maintain required level of development (LOD 300400) across all structural and civil models
• Generate quantities bill of quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs from BIM models
• Develop and manage reinforcement detailing including rebar modeling where applicable
• Update models based on design changes RFIs and site instructions
• Support the creation of as-built models using site data and feedback
• Maintain proper file structure naming conventions and workflows within the Common Data Environment (CDE)

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field
• 4 to 8 years of experience in structural or civil BIM modeling
• Strong experience in building structures and/or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (structural) AutoCAD Civil 3D and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of structural systems and civil infrastructure design principles
• Knowledge of reinforcement detailing including concrete and steel structures
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Familiarity with grading drainage and utility layouts for civil scope
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Effective coordination and communication skills
• Experience in large-scale or complex projects such as infrastructure or mixed-use developments is preferred
• Knowledge of Saudi or GCC codes and standards is an advantage
• Experience in Revit parametric family creation is beneficial
• Familiarity with CDE platforms such as BIM 360 or similar is preferred
• Exposure to bridge tunnel or road projects is an advantage for civil-focused roles
