Job Title
Duty DriverJob Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Grey tubs spare parts goods or equipment to and from designated locations.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery according to the schedule.
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.
- Comply with airport traffic regulations.
- Adhere to airport safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs of routes deliveries and mileage.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously when interacting with clients or other stakeholders.
- Communicate any delays or issues to the relevant supervisor promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries fuel usage and any expenses incurred.
- Complete and submit daily trip reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: preferably in a similar role.
- Licenses: Valid drivers license (Manual)
Skills:
- Familiarity with airport routes Preferred/Advantageous
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent time management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
- Capacity to lift and carry items.
- Good vision and hearing to operate a vehicle safely.
Working Conditions:
- Require working on shifts.
