The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the organizations day-to-day operations and ensuring operational excellence across all departments. The COO works closely with the CEO to execute the companys strategic vision drive scalable growth optimize processes and improve overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily business operations across departments to ensure efficiency and alignment with company strategy
Translate strategic goals into operational plans KPIs and execution roadmaps
Oversee operational budgeting forecasting and cost optimization
Drive process improvement automation and operational scalability
Ensure compliance with legal regulatory and corporate governance requirements
Lead mentor and develop senior management and operations teams
Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational reports for executive leadership and the board
Support mergers acquisitions partnerships and business expansion initiatives
Foster a high-performance accountable and collaborative culture
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Operations or related field (MBA preferred)
10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or general management
Proven experience scaling operations in fast-growing or complex organizations
Strong financial acumen budgeting and P&L management experience
Excellent leadership communication and decision-making skills
Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in technology healthcare finance manufacturing or services industries
Exposure to international or multi-region operations (USA GCC APAC Remote teams)
Strong background in process optimization Lean Six Sigma or operational excellence frameworks
Change management and transformation leadership experience
