Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Oil Facilities Maintenance)

Job Summary

A highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to oversee maintenance operations for oil facility systems. The role involves ensuring reliability safety and efficiency of mechanical equipment across oil & gas installations while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in oil facilities
  
• Ensure smooth operation of rotating and static equipment such as pumps compressors turbines valves and piping systems
  
• Plan and execute preventive predictive and corrective maintenance programs
  
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures
  
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability
  
• Coordinate with operations safety and inspection teams for shutdowns and turnarounds
  
• Ensure compliance with international standards and safety regulations (API ASME etc.)
  
• Prepare maintenance reports documentation and performance analysis
  
• Manage spare parts inventory control and vendor coordination
  
• Supervise and guide junior engineers and maintenance teams
  

Eligibility Criteria / Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
  
• Minimum 8 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance (preferably in Saudi / GCC)
  
• Strong experience in oil facility maintenance operations
  
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of rotating & static equipment maintenance
  
• Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
  
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP / Maximo preferred)
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
• Knowledge of API ASME and international maintenance standards
  
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
  
• Good communication and reporting skills
