QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality fintech web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in testing financial systems strong analytical skills and hands-on expertise in API and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
  
• Perform comprehensive API testing (REST/JSON) including integrations with third-party financial systems.
  
• Execute functional regression integration and end-to-end testing across financial workflows (onboarding disbursement repayment reconciliation).
  
• Validate data accuracy financial calculations and transaction integrity.
  
• Ensure compliance with quality standards security requirements and audit regulations.
  
• Identify document and track defects with clear risk and business impact analysis.
  
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability and regulatory readiness.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• 3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Control (preferably in fintech or financial services).
  
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman REST Assured SoapUI).
  
• Good understanding of financial systems transactions and data flows.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD environments.
  
• Experience with test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA Azure DevOps TestRail).
  
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
  

Preferred:

• Experience with loan management systems payment gateways or digital wallets.
  
• Knowledge of security testing concepts (OWASP data privacy access control).
  
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter k6).
  
• Exposure to mobile test automation (Appium).
