About the role
Were Looking for a Technical Office Engineer to join a Leading interior design studio that provides full design consultation coordination & supervision service for turn-key design & space solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Receives insights and details about client needs from the Technical Team Leader and Project Manager.
Receives project brief and general project plan including timeline.
Follows a time schedule for all technical design phases including all detailed activities.
Receives 3D drawings and renders from the Team Leader after client approval.
Understands requirements of the project plan life safety issues MEP permits building codes material lists and other technical aspects.
Reviews As-Built drawings submitted by the client and coordinates with the site supervision team throughout the project to ensure technical drawings match all site changes.
Generates technical sheets and working drawings with calculated dimensions (Technical 1 and Technical 2) for assigned projects.
Suggests alternative materials to mitigate any issues in the original design through discussion meetings with the design team.
Reviews lighting design with the design team from an application standpoint and identifies any MEP-related issues.
Presents technical design progress to the Technical Team Leader at each design stage.
Receives feedback from the Team Leader on all technical design stages.
Refines the project technical design based on the Team Leaders feedback and guidance.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering or a relevant major.
Language:
English: Excellent
Computer Skills:
Very Good at design programs ( AutoCAD)
Very Good with presentation programs (e.g. Illustrator Photoshop PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience:
2 Years of experience in the same field.
