Hiring General Practitioner in Qatar
Job Summary
A General Practitioner provides comprehensive primary healthcare services ensuring accurate diagnosis treatment and preventive care in accordance with Qatar’s healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations examinations and medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Order and interpret lab tests and imaging
- Provide preventive care and health education
- Refer patients to specialists when required
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent
- Valid license from Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) or eligibility
- Completed internship
- 2–5 years of experience (GCC preferred)
- DataFlow verification & Prometric exam (if applicable)
- Good communication skills (English required Arabic preferred)
