Were hiring a Web Game Developer for a Canadian-based game this role youll take browser-based games from concept to polished production-ready releases. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on real-time graphics performance and interactive systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build high-performance browser-based games using Svelte PixiJS or similar technologies
- Develop gameplay systems mechanics animations and responsive UI across devices
- Take projects from early concept through to production-ready delivery
- Integrate game clients with APIs backend services and platform SDKs
- Work within platform constraints (state management networking release requirements)
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver cohesive experiences
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in web game development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend systems
- Solid understanding of performance optimization for web-based applications
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready products
