Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of steelworkers and subcontractors.
Interpret and execute structural drawings blueprints and shop drawings.
Ensure all steel erection and welding work is completed safely accurately and to specification.
Plan schedule and assign work tasks to crews to meet project timelines.
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on site including conducting toolbox talks.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other trades to resolve site issues.
Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes and project requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
5 years of experience in steel erection or structural ironworking including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
OSHA certification and other relevant safety training (e.g. fall protection rigging) preferred.
* Minimum 03 - 04 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. * Diploma/ ITI in Electrical or Electronics, or Instrument is preferred. Certifications or equivalent. * Should be locally available in Qatar with a Valid QID * Should be able to join immediately.
