Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on-site.
Ensure lifting equipment is properly certified maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturer s guidelines.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure lifting plans and method statements are in place and understood by the lifting team.
Verify that crane operators riggers and signalers are properly qualified and competent.
Act as the key point of contact for safe lifting operations on-site.
Inspect lifting equipment and accessories prior to each use.
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.
Stop and report any unsafe lifting practices immediately.
Maintain accurate records of lifting activities equipment certifications and personnel qualifications.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar role.
Certification as a Lifting Supervisor (e.g. CITB NPORS or equivalent depending on region).
Strong knowledge of lifting operations rigging techniques and crane operation.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting.
Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and technical drawings.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various conditions.
* Minimum 03 - 04 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. * Diploma/ ITI in Electrical or Electronics, or Instrument is preferred. Certifications or equivalent. * Should be locally available in Qatar with a Valid QID * Should be able to join immediately.
