VAM Systems is currently looking for Infrastructure & Cloud Architect for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Requirements:
- 58 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS with proven ability to design deploy and manage scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong experience with multi-account AWS environments cost control and billing management.
- Experienced in AWS Services like Compute Storage Backup IAM Cloud watch Lambda etc.
- Experienced in IaaS - Cloud formation
- Experienced in AWS services like Security Groups NACL Palo Alto firewall etc
- Experienced in cloud Security - WAF implementation Key management SSL Certificate management
- Expertise in Linux (Red Hat)
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional or Associate) preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition planning and handover of AWS accounts services and billing setup of Core systems from Core vendor.
- Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure solutions (primarily on AWS) including compute storage networking and security services.
- Architect and manage hybrid environments integrating physical virtual on-prem and cloud resources.
- Ensure high availability scalability and performance of cloud and on-prem infrastructure in alignment with security baselines and best practices.
- Plan implement and manage cloud-native storage and backup solutions (e.g. Amazon S3 EBS Glacier Backup).
- Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization across cloud and on-premise systems.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. CloudFormation Terraform).
- Implement and monitor cloud security controls including IAM policies encryption security groups and compliance frameworks.
- Manage cloud service cost optimization licensing and usage tracking across multiple environments.
- Monitor system health and performance perform troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure and backup failures and lead root cause analysis.
