Job Summary:
AJM Kooheji Group is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Programmer with hands-on experience in the furniture manufacturing industry specifically in woodworking and wood-based products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the programming and operation of CNC machinery to produce high-precision furniture components ensuring quality efficiency and adherence to design specifications.

AJM Kooheji Group is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Programmer with hands-on experience in the furniture manufacturing industry specifically in woodworking and wood-based products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the programming and operation of CNC machinery to produce high-precision furniture components ensuring quality efficiency and adherence to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up operate and monitor CNC machines (e.g. routers milling machines) for woodworking.
- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and CAD files to program CNC equipment.
- Create and modify CNC programs using appropriate software (e.g. AutoCAD Mastercam or similar).
- Ensure the accurate production of wood furniture parts to meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize workflow and material usage.
- Maintain proper documentation for CNC programs machine settings and production logs.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Adhere to company safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery tools and woodworking processes.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using CAM/CAD software.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or woodworking.
- Experience with different types of wood materials and furniture components.
- Familiarity with safety and quality control procedures in manufacturing.
