Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to support the coordination and management of design activities for roads and infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring all design deliverables are aligned with project requirements standards and construction schedules while coordinating between consultants contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage design submissions for roads utilities and infrastructure works
• Review design drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Ensure alignment between design site execution and project timelines
• Liaise with consultants contractors and client representatives on design-related matters
• Track design deliverables approvals and revisions
• Identify design conflicts and support resolution in coordination with stakeholders
• Review and coordinate method statements shop drawings and technical submittals
• Ensure compliance with QCS 2014 and relevant local standards
• Support project team in design-related documentation and reporting
• Assist in ensuring constructability and practicality of design solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design coordination for infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in roads highways utilities and drainage works
• Experience in reviewing design drawings shop drawings and technical submittals
• Familiarity with QCS 2014 / Ashghal requirements
• GCC experience required (Qatar preferred)
• Strong coordination communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with consultancy / supervision projects
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.)
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination (civil utilities traffic)
• Immediate availability / transferable visa
