Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to support data management activities on the SAP platform. The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry of master and transactional data across various SAP modules. The role involves maintaining data integrity supporting reconciliations generating reports and assisting in audit readiness processes. Ideal candidates are highly organized attentive to detail and capable of working independently while supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and validate master data including vendor material and employee records within SAP.
- Post transactional data such as GRNs invoices payroll entries and production logs accurately.
- Maintain data integrity across multiple SAP modules including MM FI HR and PP.
- Support reconciliation of SAP entries with physical records and Excel trackers.
- Generate and share SAP reports based on departmental requirements.
- Identify flag and escalate data inconsistencies or system-related issues.
- Assist in periodic data audits and data clean-up activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data inputs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 24 years of experience in data entry or SAP-related roles.
- Proficiency in SAP (any module) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with an understanding of audit and compliance protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in manufacturing HR or finance data entry is preferred.
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing production quality or engineering environment or strong project-based experience through internships academic projects or personal engineering projects. Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals materials and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD Fusion 360 CATIA or similar. Practical exposure to prototyping testing and hands-on engineering work. Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. High learning agility with a curious proactive and growth-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. Well-organized disciplined and able to manage tasks meet deadlines and document work accurately. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality and continuous improvement. The following will be considered a plus: Exposure to product development projects design competitions or prototype builds. Basic understanding of DFM / DFA principles GD&T and engineering documentation standards. Experience working in factory workshop or production line environments. Strong interest in product innovation and manufacturing excellence.
