Mechanical Engineer
Reports to: Project Engineer / Lead Mechanical Engineer
Location: Qatar
Job Purpose:
To provide mechanical engineering support for leak management projects ensuring reliable design and integrity of static equipment and piping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical engineering calculations design reviews and evaluations.
• Support inspection and maintenance of pipelines valves and static equipment.
• Develop specifications data sheets and technical documentation.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for leaks and equipment failures.
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in oil & gas plants.
• Knowledge of piping systems valves leak detection and pressure equipment codes.
• Familiar with API ASME and ISO standards.
