Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Works Inspector to support site inspection and supervision activities for major roads and infrastructure projects. The candidate will ensure that all construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections for road works drainage utilities and civil infrastructure activities
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings specifications and method statements
• Monitor construction activities including:
  • Earthworks (subgrade subbase road base)
  • Asphalt works
  • Drainage systems (manholes culverts pipelines)
  • Utilities (water sewer TSE stormwater)
• Verify material quality and ensure compliance with project standards
• Coordinate inspections with consultants contractors and QA/QC teams
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports site records and daily logs
• Witness testing activities (soil concrete asphalt) and ensure proper documentation
• Raise and follow up on site issues non-conformances and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards on site
• Assist in project handover inspections and snagging activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction inspection
• Strong experience in roads highways drainage and utilities projects
• Hands-on experience in site inspection and supervision
• Familiarity with construction drawings specifications and standards
• Experience with Ashghal / QCS 2014 standards preferred
• GCC experience required (Qatar preferred)
• Good communication and reporting skills
