Job Title: Arabic Language Teacher
Location: Dhahran
Nationality: Saudi
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic language (beginner to advanced levels) on an individual or group basis
- Develop lesson plans teaching materials and course outlines
- Apply modern teaching methods including aural-oral techniques (preferred)
- Assess students through assignments presentations and formal evaluations
- Monitor and report student academic progress and behavior
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance
- Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
- Participate in staff meetings training sessions and professional development
- Collaborate with teaching teams and contribute to curriculum development
- Support and guide Teacher Assistants when required
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Arabic Language (mandatory)
- Minimum: 60 semester hours or 2 years post-secondary education (if applicable)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and English (reading writing speaking)
- Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar and literature
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong planning organizational and assessment skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs

- North American certification not required
