Job Title: Engineering Supervisor (Temporary)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor on a temporary contract to oversee maintenance operations and supervise technical teams within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient execution of engineering activities while maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan schedule and assign daily work activities based on priorities manpower and available resources
• Supervise and coordinate the work of tradesmen and technical staff
• Monitor and evaluate team performance and productivity
• Provide recommendations on employee performance including promotions transfers and disciplinary actions
• Ensure all maintenance and engineering tasks are completed in compliance with safety and healthcare standards
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth facility operations
• Maintain proper documentation of work schedules reports and maintenance activities

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • HVAC / Air Conditioning
  • ELV / Electronics
  • Medical Gas Systems
  • Civil / Building Technology

Experience

• 5–10 years of total experience in engineering/maintenance
• Minimum 4 years in a supervisory or similar role
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare/hospital environment (mandatory)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent planning and scheduling abilities
• Good knowledge of facility maintenance systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with healthcare facility standards and safety regulations
• Effective communication and reporting skills
