ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking an experienced Manager Product Design Department to lead the design and development of products including furniture lighting and other tangible product lines. This role combines creative vision hands-on design leadership and technical expertise overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept through production and market launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manage and mentor the Product Design Department
- Define and implement the overall product design strategy aligned with brand identity and business goals
- Develop original product concepts design directions mood boards and material palettes
- Oversee concept development prototyping material selection and production-ready designs
- Ensure all designs meet functional aesthetic ergonomic sustainability and cost requirements
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing procurement and marketing teams
- Review and confirm design proposals technical drawings and specifications
- Manage multiple design projects timelines and departmental resources
- Stay current with trends in furniture lighting materials and manufacturing technologies
- Coordinate and oversee product photoshoots including preparation of samples styling direction and collaboration with photographers and marketing teams to ensure high-quality professional imagery
- Lead and manage all product and collection launch events taking responsibility for:
Exhibition and booth design concepts
Spatial layout display systems and visitor experience Coordination of all visual elements materials and finishes Supervision of on-site setup installation and final execution to ensure alignment with brand and design vision
Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial or physical product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating furniture lighting or other physical product designs
- Solid understanding of materials manufacturing processes and production constraints
- Experience with prototyping testing and supplier/manufacturer coordination
- Strong leadership communication and project management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design Product Design Furniture Design or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in product design with team leadership experience
Tools & Skills (Preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD and design software ( AutoCAD keyshot and adobe programs)
- Experience with prototyping and production documentation
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.
