Job Specification: Service Technician (Workshop & Field)
Location: Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Permanent
Sector: Turbomachinery
This role focuses on the maintenance repair and overhaul of critical rotating equipment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support both in a workshop environment and on-site at various client locations primarily within the Oil & Gas and Power sectors.
Key Requirements & Experience
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience servicing rotating equipment including pumps compressors turbines and hydraulic motors.
- Industry Background: Prior experience within the Oil & Gas or Power sectors is highly preferred.
- Technical Education: * A 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- OR Vocational technical training in the Mechanical Fitter trade.
Core Technical Competencies
- Precision Measurement: Well-versed in the use of precision tools such as bore gauges micrometres and callipers.
- Alignment: Expert in performing shaft alignments using both traditional dial gauges and modern laser alignment machines.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex machine cross-sectional drawings and technical manuals.
- Testing: Familiarity with basic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies.
- Instrumentation: Basic foundational knowledge of instrumentation.

- Communication: Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player when required.
- IT Literacy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
