In this role the incumbent must:
- SUPPORT AND FACILITATE THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS WITHIN STELLANTIS ENGINEERING
- Prepare key message summaries and ensure the maturity of topics for governance/team meetings.
- Filter escalations to ensure decisions are made at the appropriate level.
- Establish agendas and distribute meeting minutes for meetings under their responsibility.
- Ensure the dissemination of information and follow-up on actions decided in the instances.
- ORGANIZE AND ANIMATE INTERNAL GOVERNANCE AND ITS CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Organize the typical agenda of the management integrating interfaces with partners.
- Reporting and follow-up: update major indicators and dashboards of the management.
- Ensure the consistency of official data reported concerning engineering (activity reports social and environmental reports etc.) as needed.
- Share field feedback and make improvement proposals.
- Share/harmonize best managerial and/or organizational practices.
- Manage transversal syntheses affecting the functioning of the management (e.g. list of associations partial unemployment on-site presence within the framework of NEA etc.).
- PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE AND SUPPORT TRANSFORMATION
- Implement the Groups strategic and efficiency plans at the management level.
- Set objectives and their associated indicators.
- Participate in all change management initiatives define associated communication plans and implement them.
- Provide technological content for communication events (e.g. amphitheaters).
- Implement the integration path coherently with those of the company and the division.
- Participate in meetings of external organizations/automotive associations for which the management is registered (if applicable).
- MANAGE ALL ACTIONS RELATED TO COMPLIANCE (ETHICS REGULATORY) AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Manage and implement compliance objectives at the sub-entity level.
- Training: ensure the expected completion rate by the deadline for regulatory training.
- Ensure the application and traceability of processes.
- Share field feedback and compliance issues.
- Manage the risk portfolio of the management and audit recommendations assigned to the management:
- Ensure regular updates of actions and recommendations by designated pilots.
- Share the status of action plans with the management team (consistency of progress with the deadline alert in case of deviation).
- Report risks requirements or needs of the entity/management.
- Define the list of expected regulatory compliance assessments (Cybersecurity Privacy Safety etc.) according to the upcoming vehicle launch schedule and ensure official sharing at the level defined by governance rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizational scope covered: local engineering at the level of a technical center OR global scope of a meta function
- Ensure decision-making at the lowest possible level in the organization.
- Ensure deadlines are met for actions and issues identified in the minutes.
- Ensure the update and relevance of indicator and dashboard content.
- Harmonize best managerial practices.
- Represent the Company to external organizations/automotive associations (if applicable).
- Ensure the appropriation of the Groups code of conduct and ethics rules.
- Ensure the application of governance rules on regulatory compliance of our products and services.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS
- With the R&D Directors of local engineering (Engineering Hub Lead) or the global meta function (Global function lead): relay messages and provide strategic advice.
- With the management team: animate the management team.
- With field teams: ensure information feedback and dissemination.
- With peers (other technical secretaries and business development managers of functions): share best practices and implement the objectives and approaches of the N1 management and the Group.
Qualifications :
- 5 to 8 years experience
- Experience in various engineering roles
- Writing managerial communications and organizing events
- Broad and detailed knowledge of engineering processes and administration financial management and human resources
- Knowledge of rules and constraints related to compliance (internal regulatory etc.)
- English: able to lead international meetings with negotiation and compromise (equivalent to level B2 minimum)
