Job Title: Estimation Engineer
Reports to: Operations Manager
Objective: To estimate the value of project being tendered as part of business development
Qualification: B.E (Mechanical / Electrical) Roles and Responsibilities:
• Attend Job-ex meetings and client meetings.
• Scrutiny of tender documents
• Evaluating tender documents drawings & schedules
• Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers
• Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
• Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project carrying out Value engineering studies.
• Maintaining ISO documentation Record Keeping Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.
• Work on quantity take offs cross checking quantities.
• Pricing for electrical / mechanical / plumbing systems
• Assisting in compiling of tenders.
• Submitting bid on time with all required documents.
• Liaise with BD team to get required Pre-Qualification documents both standards as well project specific questionnaires
• Handle ERP systems and MS office suits
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in shutdown maintenance-based company
• Knowledge in Planning & Scheduling tools like Primavera and relevant tools.
• Certification in project management is added advantage
• Excellent analytical and computer skills specifically in Ms Office Suite
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
