Manage and improve local Local Shops operations through vendor management optimising processes & best practices as well as developing a strong local operations team. Key focus is to drive operational efficency to support sales and growth locally.
Whats on your plate
- Accountable for local Local Shops operational performance including both commerical & operational KPIs.
- Work with Head of Local Shops to shape the strategy/plan to acheive targets ensuring regular reviews and pre-prioritisation.
- Create and maintain a strong partnership with the Sales team; collaborate on strategy priorities and opportunities.
- Work with Regional Ops team to be the local market ops stakeholder; highlight opportunities gain support and share any local initiatives.
- Work closely with key accounts on performance opportunities and leverage relationship to build local market insights.
- Scope and deliver local initiatives to improve ops metrics quantified with data analysis.
- Drives the team to deliver consistent results & improvements across all Local Shops verticals.
- Consistently reviews performance highlighting successes and areas of improvements supported by a target action plan.
- Expert in local operational process/procedures continually evaluating simplifying removing non-value adding tasks and auditing compliance.
- Ability to think outside of the box innovate where product/processes are not available and challenge ways of working.
- Leads by example and provides indepth training to team.
- Drive team focus on objective and goals by buidling a cohesive team that drive results through maximium efficency.
- Share best practices successful initiatives with our markets to support.
Qualifications :
What did we order
- 3 plus years operational experience in Grocery operations or food/tech business.
- Strong operational experience local expertise desirable.
- Direct Line management experience.
- Ability to build relationships motivate peers and manage upwards.
- Ability to build relationships motivate peers and manage upwards.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships influence and communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage upwards and influence regionally.
- Personable and empathic approach to ways of working.
- Present complexities in a simple and compelling way to stakeholders; problem impact root cause of problem (data) and resolution.
